As the name of this website might imply, I’m Claire.
Up to this point in my life, I have been a journalist, layout designer and editor. As a reporter, there really aren’t a lot of ways to express opinions without treading on toes, or write short stories or blurbs from the “I’ll-finish-it-one-day” novel, or edit photos in creative ways to show a different side of beauty, or even draw and create art.
And now that I have recently switched career paths, my itch for learning local history can’t be scratched.
That is what this website is all about.
It is an exploration in local history, a travel blog, an outlet for showing the world through my eyes, or an introduction into a world I am creating myself.
